Change begins with innovative programs designed to recruit and retain great teachers in the classroom. It begins with new ways to ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend college and are prepared to succeed once there. Change begins with more effectively using the summer months to eliminate the achievement gap. It begins by finding creative ways to engage students more in their learning and to expand their thinking globally. And change begins by providing all students with high quality options so they can choose their best pathway to graduation and college. This is how The Mind Trust’s current Education Entrepreneur Fellows and Venture Fund partners are changing more than minds. Programs like these are at the heart of The Mind Trust and its mission to dramatically improve public education for underserved students by empowering education entrepreneurs to develop or expand transformative education initiatives.

Our Education Entrepreneur Fellowship serves as an incubator for truly revolutionary and evolutionary education ventures. Through this program, we support and nurture talented entrepreneurs – pioneers in education – who have the vision and passion to truly transform our public education system.

Our Venture Fund recruits and funds some of the nation’s most successful entrepreneurial education organizations, bringing them to Indianapolis and helping them successfully launch and grow in our community.
