Who We Are
Sarah Hawkins
Development Officer

Sarah works to increase external support for The Mind Trust as part of the development team. She began her work in development at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she focused much of her efforts on event-based fundraising, including the nation's largest sports endurance training program, Team In Training. That job introduced Sarah to the satisfaction of getting community members involved in an important cause. She joined The Mind Trust because she saw an opportunity to address Indianapolis' education problem, which she believes is the catalyst for addressing many other societal challenges.

Sarah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from DePauw University and prior to joining The Mind Trust served as the Global Corporate Communications Manager at Indianapolis-based ExactTarget. She serves on the Legacy Fund grants review committee and the Lilly Endowment Marion County Scholarship selection committee. She is an alumnus of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series and a member of Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty Under 40.
