Leeanna Hyacinth and Alyssa McIntyre will serve as a School Launch Fellow team to work on expanding BELIEVE Circle City High School to serve more Indianapolis students.
Leeanna Hyacinth serves as the Assistant Principal at BELIEVE Circle City High School. She joined the network in 2021 and has previously worked in student-focused positions at various community organizations. Hyacinth has over 9 years of education experience. Hyacinth earned two bachelor’s, one in biomedical engineering and one in applied mathematics both from Columbia University, and her master of arts in teaching mathematics from the University of the Virgin Islands.
Alyssa McIntyre serves as the Dean of Instruction at BELIEVE Circle City High School. She joined the network in 2023 as an instructional coach but has previously worked in various teaching, leadership, and coaching roles. McIntyre has over 6 years of education experience and is eager to push for positive student outcomes. From 2019 to 2020, she received the African-American Excellence in Education Award for the 7th Congressional District of Indianapolis. McIntyre earned two bachelor’s, one in African American and African studies and one in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies both from Ohio State University, her master of arts in teaching from Marian University, and earned an exceptional children mild intervention certification from SPED ACTS: SPED RAL.
