The Mind Trust, an Indianapolis-based education nonprofit, today announced the application launch for the ninth cohort of the Innovation School Fellowship. The Innovation School Fellowship is a partnership between The Mind Trust, The Mayor’s Office of Education Innovation (Mayor’s Office), and Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) to attract best-in-class educators to develop and lead high-quality IPS Innovation Network Schools.

We are pleased to award a total of $30,000 to 14 recipients of the Go Farther Literacy Fund, a new initiative to help Indianapolis families ensure their children can read at or above grade-level. Awards ranging between $500 to $3,800 will fund projects created and managed by Indianapolis families and community organizations.
The Mind Trust has announced $74,618 in Educators Assistance awards for 23 Indianapolis teachers. The Educators Assistance program’s goal is to eliminate the financial barrier of additional education for teachers who wish to grow professionally and advance their careers at schools in Center Township.
