As Director of Alignment and Schools Investments, Amber Audrain supports and advances The Mind Trust’s primary school launch pathways. In addition, Amber helps ensure alignment between the School Support and School Incubation teams.
Before joining The Mind Trust, Amber was a project manager with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, where she helped guide the Learn More Indiana and 21st Century Scholars programs. She previously worked for Stand for Children-Indiana, the national parent-student advocacy organization, overseeing development of the School Chooser Guide, which compiles programming information, key deadlines, transportation, fees, and academic data gathered from all 11 Indianapolis school districts, charter schools, non-public schools, and the Indiana Department of Education to help parents select the right fit for their children.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University as well as a master’s degree in policy analysis and a Public Management graduate certificate from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. While completing her master’s degree, she served as a legislative intern at the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her professional pursuits, Amber serves as the board chair of the Lighthouse Academies of Indianapolis, a local network of charter schools.
