As Senior Director of School Support, Tina Seymour assists in The Mind Trust’s expansion of its school support strategy, which provides school-specific and city-wide training and support to network executives, school leaders, and teachers. She implements, refines, and continues to develop a menu of supports that currently includes long-range strategic planning, executive coaching for network leaders, deep instructional systems support, and capacity-building for schools seeking to grow.
Seymour brings over twenty years of experience in education to her role at The Mind Trust, having served as the Head of School of Northview Middle School in Washington Township, a nationally-recognized International Baccalaureate World School. In 2014, she became the Founder and President of Strategic Learning Solutions, an association of educators that provides educational consulting and professional development to K-16 schools. Seymour also serves as an adjunct professor in the EPPSP principal preparation program at Butler University and is the co-author of Lead From the Start, a leadership book for new school administrators published by Solution Tree Press.
She was born and raised in Indianapolis and is a K-12 graduate of Indianapolis Public Schools. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis and a master’s degree from Butler University.
