Senior Vice President of Strategic Alignment and Operations
As Senior Vice President of Strategic Alignment and Operations, Lauren Rush oversees The Mind Trust’s internal alignment, development efforts, and organizational operations; with a focus on maintaining a strong, values-aligned culture.
Before joining The Mind Trust, Lauren was chief operations officer of the Community Charter Network in Indianapolis, where she oversaw operations for the local network of charter schools serving 1,200 students across Indianapolis. She also previously served in leadership with Teach For America (TFA) in Indianapolis where she oversaw the coaching and development of over 300 first- and second-year corps members teaching in 30 Indianapolis schools.
Lauren began her career as a middle school math teacher in Arkansas, during which time her conviction of working toward educational equity was cemented. Rush holds a bachelor’s degree in Youth, Adult & Family Services from Purdue University and an MBA in education leadership from the University of Indianapolis. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 4 kids.
