Become an Indiana Learns Champion School or Champion Plus School
Indiana Learns is a statewide grant program supporting reading and math growth for eligible young Hoosiers by funding tutoring in a variety of settings. Indiana Learns Champion Schools are schools with families that are actively using Indiana Learns accounts to strengthen their student’s skill level in Math and Reading. Champion Schools may offer on-site math and english/language arts engagement opportunities—outside of school hours—to qualifying students. Schools can work with the eligible population to leverage the funds to support the delivery of qualified expenses.
Champion Plus Schools have all the characteristics of Champion Schools, PLUS they choose to match funds of $250 for eligible students. Indiana Learns will match the funds with an additional $250 for eligible students; totaling $1,000 per eligible student. These funds can be used on qualified expenses.
