Educator Empowerment Awards

Awards to help successful Indianapolis public schools convert into IPS Innovation Network Schools

Through a close partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools, The Mind Trust offers each school selected for an Educator Empowerment Award financial support to facilitate their transition to become an IPS Innovation Network School. Schools can seek Innovation status to create a learning and cultural environment that best meets the needs of their unique community.

Awardees also receive access to expert consultants and coaches, individualized leadership development plans, and opportunities to engage with some of the nation’s best schools. 

Following their conversion to Innovation Network Schools, award recipients saw significant increases in enrollment and the percentage of students passing state assessments.
