Ciara Jones

Ciara Jones is the Principal at Avondale Meadows Middle School in Indianapolis. She began her tenure at AMMS in 2021 as an ELA teacher, where she increased student proficiency by 25.9% in her first year. Ciara holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Counseling Psychology from Ball State University and a Master of Public Administration in Law and Public Policy from Liberty University. She is also the founder of Eagles WIN (What I Need), an afterschool tutoring program aimed at boosting grade-level proficiency. Her accolades include the 2017 Teacher of the Year award and the 2023 “Leaders We Need” scholarship.
