Purdue Polytechnic High Schools

School Launch Fellow Lacey Beatty will deepen the impact of Purdue Polytechnic High Schools (PPHS) by launching a third Indianapolis campus of the successful charter school network. The network was founded locally by Scott Bess, Shatoya Ward, and Dr. Keeanna Warren through The Mind Trust’s Innovation School Fellowship. 

Beatty currently serves as Director of Leadership Development and Support for PPHS. She joined the network in 2017 as a founding math teacher and served as interim school leader for PPHS’ South Bend campus in the 2021-2022 school year. 

Beatty has more than 25 years of education experience and is passionate about serving underrepresented high school students. She has participated in KIPP Foundation’s School Leadership Training. Beatty earned her bachelor’s degree in Deaf and Hearing-Impaired Education from Ball State University and a master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from Purdue University Global.
