Girls IN Stem Academy

Emerging Leaders Fellow Phoebe Rusie is the Founding Assistant Principal at Girls IN STEM Academy, bringing over a decade of educational experience across Indianapolis schools. She previously served in teaching, coaching, and leadership roles at Paramount Schools of Excellence and other community organizations. A former Teach Plus Policy Fellow and instructional coach with Indianapolis Teaching Fellows, Phoebe brings both classroom and systems-level expertise. She earned a B.A. in Communication from DePauw University, an M.A. in Teaching from Marian University, and completed the Building-Level Administrator licensure program. She’s passionate about closing the gender gap in STEM through high-quality, girl-centered education.
