Girls IN Stem Academy

Phoebe Rusie is a Master Teacher at Paramount Brookside, where she teaches 4th grade, supports teacher development, and data-driven learning initiatives across the school. She brings over a decade of educational experience across Indianapolis schools, including serving as the Founding Assistant Principal at Girls IN STEM Academy, where she helped launch a girl-centered, STEM focused elementary model. A former Teach Plus Policy Fellow and seasonal instructional coach with Indianapolis Teaching Fellows, Phoebe brings both classroom and systems-level expertise to her work. She has also served in teaching, coaching, and leadership roles throughout the Paramount Schools of Excellence network and other community-based organizations. Phoebe earned a B.A. in Communication from DePauw University, an M.A. in Teaching from Marian University, and completed the Building-Level Administrator Licensure Program. She is passionate about advancing equity and ensuring academic achievement in Indianapolis.
