Alleson Knox

As Director of National Partnerships, Alleson Knox supports The Mind Trust’s efforts to scale its successful school growth incubator programs, as well as other programmatic expansion opportunities, into new geographies outside of Indiana. She manages a portfolio of active national engagements and codifies The Mind Trust’s programmatic approach. In this role, she ensures that proven approaches are adapted and applied in ways that are responsive to local needs and focused on closing achievement gaps.

Throughout her career, she has specialized in helping education systems and communities build stronger pathways to student success through strategic planning, cross-sector collaboration, and organizational capacity building. Prior to joining The Mind Trust, Alleson served in school leadership roles to drive enrollment and development, and also led strategic initiatives to expand postsecondary success and workforce development opportunities for students. Alleson holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Howard University, and is a Ph.D. candidate in Policy Studies and Urban Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
