Partner, North Star Fellowship
As Partner, North Star Fellowship, Georgia Lieber will support the launch of and lead a statewide incubator/accelerator on behalf of The Mind Trust. In this role, Lieber will create and implement strategies for the North Star Fellowship (NSF) program’s incubation of high-quality schools to serve students and families throughout the state of Connecticut and serve as the main point of contact between The Mind Trust and Latinos for Educational Advocacy and Diversity (LEAD), alongside other partners.
With over 27 years of education experience, Lieber worked as the Director of Development and Outreach at Cold Spring School in New Haven, CT where she increased giving goals by 213% before joining The Mind Trust. Prior to that, Lieber served as a Consultant and Senior Project Manager at SchoolWorks, LLC. She has worked in several educational leadership positions with some titles including consultant, writer, reporter, project manager, and history teacher/5th grade-level chair. She has also held several board positions for Connecticut organizations like Students for Educational Justice and Horizons at The Foote School to name a few.
Lieber holds a master of teaching degree from Simmons College and a bachelor of arts in history from Yale University.
