Joe White

Joe White, originally from Richmond, Indiana, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a robust background in real estate development and business leadership. As the President and CEO of JBH Ventures, White has been instrumental in launching and steering a company that focuses on transformative real estate developments designed to enhance communities through meticulous and strategic execution. As the Charter Forward CT Education Entrepreneur Fellow, he will provide support to both North Star Fellows and existing charter school operators to help grow and maintain a strong, high-quality charter school sector in the state.

In addition to his entrepreneurial and real estate experience, White has amassed extensive charter school and real estate development experience over the last 15+ years. After serving as a teacher, school leader and Executive Director of The Excel Center network, he spent six years with The Mind Trust, during which he designed our school support strategy and eventually served as the Senior Vice President of Schools, overseeing our school incubation, school support, and talent investments.
