As Partner, National Expansion, Martin Green will lead The Mind Trust’s efforts to scale its successful school growth incubator programs, alongside any other programmatic expansion work opportunities, to new geographies outside of Indiana. In this role, alongside the Chief Strategy Officer and the Senior Vice President of Policy & Strategic Partnerships, Green will be responsible for identifying and cultivating other new geographies in which to grow The Mind Trust’s programmatic work.

Previous to joining The Mind Trust, Green served as the Academy for Urban School Leadership’s Chief of National Expansion & Impact. During this time, he led the establishment of LiberatED Way, a community-driven school transformation partner that works with schools and districts in 8 cities and impacts over 50,000 students annually. Key projects included the design and implementation of the Tulsa Way for Teaching & Learning and associated teacher development roadmap, revamping the district’s novice teacher experience, redesigning report cards to drive more meaningful engagement with students and families in their academic and social-emotional learning progress, and implementing the district’s first learning management system. Before his work at Tulsa Public Schools, he was a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, leading projects across a variety of industries including industrial products, health care, and higher education.

Green is a proud graduate of the Broad Residency in Urban Education, has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a bachelor of arts in Comparative Literature from Williams College.
