Teacher Residency Director:

Do you have experience leading students to strong academic outcomes in an urban school environment? Have you led a school or network of schools to impressive results through coaching or managing teachers? Do you believe that well-prepared teachers are a key ingredient to transforming schools?

The Mind Trust is seeking to bring a teacher residency program to Indianapolis and is searching for an exceptional leader who could launch this residency program in the fall of 2019. As an employee of a national residency program, this person would work alongside the national team to plan, launch, and lead an Indianapolis-based teacher residency program.

Manager of Development:

The Manager of Development will be mission-focused and committed to advancing The Mind Trust’s philanthropic efforts. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager of Development will be responsible for supporting all development related work including the execution of the organization’s development strategy.

The Manager will develop, draft, and edit grant proposals and inquiries to potential funders. In addition, the Manager will support all back-end operations for processing gifts and maintaining a robust database as well as ensuring The Mind Trust implements vital and ongoing efforts to engage and steward donors in both traditional and nontraditional ways. The Manager will work with the Director and other colleagues to ensure the organization meets all reporting and other grants management obligations and deadlines. The Manager will conduct research and data analysis on donors and prospective donors to expand our base of support, increase gifts, and identify motivations/barriers for contributing to our mission.

To be successful, the Manager must: be an independent, self-motivated strategic and operational thinker; demonstrate strong written communication skills; possess exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for quality; be able to organize, prioritize, and direct a large volume of projects and tasks; seek solutions as an active problem solver; and eagerly partner with all colleagues to collaboratively extend The Mind Trust’s impact.
