Mary Brody

Mary Brody began her Emerging Leaders Fellowship journey as the Director of Instruction at KIPP Indy Public Schools and now serves as the network’s Senior Director of ELA Achievement. Since joining KIPP in 2016, she has taught first and third grade, served as a grade-level chair, and led instructional strategy across campuses. Mary launched “Rising Readers,” a before-school tutoring program to boost early literacy, and is committed to expanding access to high-quality reading instruction. She holds a B.A. from DePauw University and an M.A. in Teaching from Marian University, and centers her work in equity and instructional excellence.
