Tenth ‘Education Bus Tour’ to visit popular summer learning program

Indianapolis – The Mind Trust will host its 10th in a series of “Education Bus Tours,” which highlight high-performing public schools in Indianapolis for local parents, educators and community members later this month.

This month’s tour will feature the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis’ Summer Academy, one of the city’s excellent summer learning and enrichment programs.

When:   Thursday, June 30;  9 —10:30 a.m.  (There is no bus portion of this event, but the tour will start promptly at 9 a.m.)

Past tours have visited successful public schools in Indianapolis to demonstrate innovative and effective techniques and practices in action.  The tours are co-sponsored by the Indianapolis Public Schools,UNCF, 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, La Plaza and the Expectations Project.

Julian School 57, Tindley Preparatory Academy, Carl Wilde School 79, Christel House Academy South, the Center for Inquiry 27, Herron High School, Gambold Preparatory Magnet School, Enlace Academy, Arlington Woods School 99, Tindley Collegiate Academy, Rousseau McClellan Montessori School 91, Phalen Leadership Academy, Brookside School 54 and Paramount School of Excellence.
